OUR SERVICES

There’s more than managing

We’re specifically trained and dedicated to connecting people with services that make life better because we all need a helping hand from time to time, and getting the right support at the right time makes all the difference.

How we can help you

Author Health supports emotional and cognitive health for older adults who are struggling with things like sleep, worry, forgetfulness, or low energy. We’re here to help you feel like yourself again through fast, at-home support in close connection with your providers.

Counseling

Meet with a licensed therapist who understands the emotional and day-to-day challenges that can come later in life. Therapy can help with things like worry, sadness, stress, grief, isolation, or simply feeling unlike yourself.

Medication support

Our team is specifically trained in understanding the nuances of prescriptions for seniors. We’re experts in understanding how mental health care fits with your total health and other medical needs so that you actually get better, not worse, because of bad drug combinations or poor prescriptions.

Provider partnership

We work alongside your other doctors, so your care feels connected, not more complicated, and you get all the care you need. Whether you need company at your next appointment or help updating your provider on your progress, we’re by your side and here to help.

Caregiver support

When someone you love is having a hard time, caregivers can’t help but carry part of that weight too. We work to keep families informed, connect them with additional services, and help everyone feel more supported.

Mental and cognitive care

If you've been noticing changes in memory, your mood, or how you've been feeling, we can help you figure out what's going on. We also support people with health conditions and life changes feel their best.

Dementia care

Therapy, medication management, and caregiver guidence can help make daily life safer and calmer. If you or a loved one are facing memory changes, we can help coordinate care and provide support.

Your own team

Once you start, you'll be matched with your very own, dedicated team who who together to keep your care moving forward.

Virtual care

We’ve found that connecting on a computer or phone for appointments often feels more comfortable, convenient, and private for most of the people we serve. If you need help with virtual care, we can send someone in-person to help set up your connection.
